Interesting Fact: Toews had one of the best performances of any Canadian at Vancouver 2010, earning him Top Forward of the tournament honours. He was so good, in fact, that upon being named captain of the 2014 team, Sidney Crosby contacted Toews and made sure he was all right with Crosby wearing the “C” instead of him. Toews will be an alternate captain in Sochi.
